My daughter just got home from her school yesterday when suddenly I heard someone outside our house was calling her name. So, I ask my daughter to see who was her visitor. After a while, she accompany her friend at the living room. I listen to their conversation while I am in front of my computer table pretending that I am not aware of their topic. I overheard that her friend got a second hand cell phone unit from her father as a reward for being a winner in one declamation contest in her school.
I notice that my daughter looks very exited while inspecting the features of said cell phone. I overheard her suggesting to put some accessories such as leather case and blue-tooth headset. I even heard my daughter recommends the online site where her friend can choose from different cell phone accessories like what she did when she bought a new cover for her second hand cell phone last week
I then join them in searching the website where they can find the different type of accessories of cell phone after realizing that it is also time for me to buy a new charger on my cell phone.

We are moving in our new purchase house this coming weekend. It was a single-detached type of house which we acquire through housing loan and payable for five years.
Since we both work in a private firm, we compromise that my husband will take charge of the monthly amortization of the house and the monthly electric and water bills while I will be in-charge of our daily expenses. Aside from our jobs, I am also connected to real state. Actually, the down payment of this house came from my commission as agent. I want to put new furniture and appliances in our house that is why, I am selling my used furniture with our neighbors in addition to our budget in buying new furnishings. I also want to place a landscape garden at the backyard for my place of relaxation. I am so glad that we were able to own a house in just a short time of our marriage.
I am positive that after two years we will be having our first baby to complete our own family. For the meantime, we will enjoy living together and while waiting for our kid to come, devote our attention to invest for a better future of our family.

I am taking care of my grandmother for one month now and I am making some adjustment regarding her behavior. It is my first time to take care my oldies and as of now, I don’t understand why she always repeats on what she said every minute.
As the days goes by, I found out that she want someone to talk about her past. She is bored living alone and waiting for the time to rest. Maybe this is the reason why she got angry so easily. She always raised her voice in every little mistake you make. She also make some comment in every family discussion and everything she says is true and must be obey. It is difficult to take care of my grandmother because of her attitude. It affect the daily routine of my family especially when my children want to play loud music. Some of my neighbors suggest me to send her to home for the aged. In this place, they can take care my grandmother and bring back the normal living of my family. But I don’t have enough money to send her in that place and besides, I want to take care of her for the rest of her life.
I realize that it is normal for the oldies those behavior and It is my responsibility to understand her attitude.

Summertime is here again…and as a mother, I do not want my kids to stay longer outside the house because I know that during this season, kids are prone to different kinds of allergies and skin diseases such as prickly heat, chicken pox, sore eyes ans measles.
We all know that children prefer to stay outside because it is the only time that they can play with their playmates since it is vacation time. However, I have heard from the news of prevalent disease like measles and sore eyes in different areas. And because this kind of disease can easily infect children, I am trying my best so that my children will avoid this virus. I don’t care if others thought that I am an over-protective mom, I only want my kids get out of such ailment. And no one can blame me because I had experience this ailment when I was a child. My mother told me not to get out of the house then, but I was very stubborn that time that I disobey my mother’s command. One day, I noticed some rashes in my tummy and suddenly spread out on all parts of my body. I even got high fever then that I was rushed to the hospital. We soon found out then that measles attacked me.
When I was treated, I promised to obey my parents from then on. I have learned my lesson that mother always knows best for her children.

Every time that summer comes,my children are very excited because they know that this is the only time that we can be able to spend our time together in an out of town location.
Usually, we spend our vacation with my parents who lives in a farm. My kids really enjoy picking fruits in the trees inside the backyard. There are also planted vegetables that they use to harvest. We also love to hear my father playing guitar while my mother sings, then afterwards, my children dances. How I truly missed those days. But my parents left their farm to live with my younger sister who works and stays in a foreign country. That is why; my husband decides to spend our vacation in a beach resort this time. When our children heard their father’s plan, they suggested some places that they think could be an ideal spot to stay for a while to enjoy our swimming activity. Later, I have learned that my husband already had a reservation in a private resort and he is just waiting for his salary loan to release to use in our vacation.
We really enjoy our first summer vacation in a beach and my children are looking forward to repeat the very exciting experience next year.

My husband wants to put up a small restaurant near our place. He loves to cook and I can say that he cooks very well. However, he is worried that his capital is not sufficient to build a new business hence he asks help on how to raise more funds in order to start his business venture.
He searched the Internet and was able to find the company that accepts loans. He thought of lending money in this agency and since he was already resigns in his job;I was the one who applies for this loan to finance his target business because I have a stable job and has the capacity to pay. Fortunately, our loan was granted. We started looking for an ideal place where we can get possible customers. My sister informs us about a vacant place in a commercial area outside our subdivision but not very far in our place and was accessible to all of us. After leasing the place, we shop for kitchen equipments, tables and chairs, kitchen utensils and other kitchen appliances. We also went to agency that provides business permit to operate our business.
Finally, our restaurant business is already open and were glad to know that our first day of operation is really successful.

My daughter is a graduating student in high school. In their school, they always had a graduation ball one week before their graduation to get acquainted with other students.
Since I know that this is a formal party, I help my daughter find a gown suited on this occasion. We went to a shopping mall where we can choose a gown and high-heeled shoes. With an evening party, I prefer a black gown with sequins to highlight the neckline of the ball gown. Silver high-heeled shoes with silver pouch surely match her attire. Three hours before the party, I accompanied her at the salon to put make up on her face and also style her hair appropriate with her clothing. I let her wear my pearl necklace and earrings which I think well-matched to her outfit. I am planning to give her gold necklace and earrings on her graduation day.
Parents are also invited to attend on the first part of the party to gaze at the students’ parade. I enjoy watching the different styles and colors of gowns wear by the girls. I was fascinated by their beautiful hair dressers. The boys look gorgeous with their pants and suits. I wonder why we have no graduation ball during our high school days. I am sure that my mother will also be excited to join me in this kind of affair.

I am a part time caretaker of one villa in a private resort. As a caretaker, I am responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the house.
My boss come every weekend only with his wife to enjoy the beach resort. They are very nice to me. I don’t feel that I am a worker in their house because they treated me like a member of their family. That is why, I do my best to make them satisfied in my job. The villa is only walking distance from my house. They give me a duplicate key to check the inside and outside parts of the house everyday. My boss give me an instruction on what I am going to do if they are not in the villa, and when they are in the villa. One day, he came into my house to give the box with stuff inside. He don’t want those things anymore and instead of keeping it in a stockroom, he decided to give it to me. He just drop the box and leave, I thank him and because he have some important matter to settle, he leave immediately. When I open the box, I was surprised because it is a PlayStation with DVD games. This is what I longed want to have, however I don’t have budget to buy it. Although it is a used Play station, I can say that it is the best gift I ever receive in my entire life. I am very thankful that I have a boss like him.
As of now, when I do not have work to do,I am enjoying playing those PlayStation games in my twenty one inches colored television.

My daughter ask me if she can possibly have her own computer. She explained that almost everyday, she have to go on an Internet shop to search for her assignment. She even told me that we can save time and money if she have her own computer. I tell her, that I will see what I can do to buy her a computer even a second hand only. Although I am just a clerk and my salary is not sufficient to buy a set of computer, my option is to make an advance salary to my boss, enough money to buy a second hand computer.
On the next day, my boss calls me through cell phone to open the air condition in his room because he will arrive after an hour. Enough time to make cold the entire room. I decide to wait him to tell if can have an advance salary. When he arrives, he notice that I am waiting for him. He ask me if want something from him. Although I was hesitant to tell him, I was force to asked about my desire to have an advance salary. Lucky enough, he gave me money to buy a personal computer for my daughter. And take note that it is not advance salary, instead, it is a gift for me due to my devotion to work.
I was so happy that day and I thank my boss for his generosity. I am sure that my daughter will be happy knowing that she will soon have a computer that she can use for her study.

Two days ago, my cousin sent me a message about my schedule in school. I replied immediately and gave her my complete class schedule.
Then yesterday while having my lunch in school, she called me through my cellphone informing that she is on our school gate and asked me to fetch her. Although I was curious, I went to the gate and saw her standing beside our security guard. I was amazed that she never recognized me right away. That was the only time she told me what’s her purpose in going to my school. I have learned that she was going to have an interview with some of my teachers for her term paper. After finishing my lunch, we initially went to the Principal’s office to seek permission in having an interview with the teachers. Then I conveyed her into our school’s faculty room where all of our teachers stay. I talked to one of my favorite teachers and requested her to give us some time for the said interview. Hence, my cousin started asking questions to my teachers. She asked my teacher about what are the missions, philosophies and visions of our school on her own opinion. It took an hour probably, for that interview. Then the interview continues, until all of our teachers were then interviewed.
We thanked all the faculty members including the principal for the time they lend for us. My cousin was very grateful for spending my time helping her on such project. I escorted her at the gate. That was a tiring but really an enjoying experience for me because that was the first time I saw a live interview.
